With her victory, Nugent claimed her second Diamond League win in six days, following her Silesia outing where she also clocked a Meeting Record of 12.29s, thus making a bold statement as the top favourite to gun for the title in Brussels.

Olympic champion Masai Russel, who's still struggling to get her first win since Paris settled for the second position in 12.31s, while Dutch hurdling star Nadine Visser came third in 12.52s.

With her performance, Nugent is edging closer to the sub-12.20s mark, as she's now tipped as a top favourite to challenge Tobi Amusan's World Record of 12.12s.
