Ackera Nugent's fantastic post-Olympics form continued with another record-breaking performance, this time, blazing to a new Jamaican record and world-leading time to win the women's 100mH event at the Rome Diamond League.
The 22-year-old ran a blistering 12.24s (-0.4) into a headwind, thus smashing the Meeting and Diamond League Record to become the fourth-fastest woman in history.
With her victory, Nugent claimed her second Diamond League win in six days, following her Silesia outing where she also clocked a Meeting Record of 12.29s, thus making a bold statement as the top favourite to gun for the title in Brussels.

Winning day for Jamaica in Silesia as youngsters Tia Clayton and Ackera Nugent top performances over Olympic disappointment
Jamaican athletes had winning and brilliant performances at the Silesia Diamond League with Ackera Nugent and Tia Clayton topping the list.
Olympic champion Masai Russel, who's still struggling to get her first win since Paris settled for the second position in 12.31s, while Dutch hurdling star Nadine Visser came third in 12.52s.
With her performance, Nugent is edging closer to the sub-12.20s mark, as she's now tipped as a top favourite to challenge Tobi Amusan's World Record of 12.12s.
