The second AFN Golden League has been postponed by a week but the venue remains the same.
The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has postponed the second AFN Golden League by a week.
The meet was initially scheduled to hold on Wednesday, June 7, and Thursday, June 8, at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, but will now take place from 14 - 15 at the same venue.
Rita Moshindi, the federation’s Secretary General, released a statement concerning the change of date.
"This change of date is due to circumstances beyond the control of the AFN. All inconveniences caused by this change is hereby regretted," wrote Moshindi in a circular sent to all States Athletics Association, clubs, and Military and Para-Military clubs.

The first AFN Golden League was held at the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja last month.
