The 2021 New York City Marathon champion Albert Korir was honoured to have attended the United Nations global operations this week when they visited the UN Headquarters in New York.
Korir shared his excitement in a post on his Instagram page, noting that he was thrilled to have been invited for an interview by the United Nations.

At the just concluded New York City Marathon, Korir finished second in the men’s race, clocking a Personal Best time of 2:06:57. On her part, Cheptoo, a former 1500m runner managed to finish sixth in 2:28:11.
