American youngster Quincy Wilson, 16, has beaten Usain Bolt's and Kirani James' records after his recent exploits in the 400m at the Bullis Track sophomore.
Youngster Quincy Wilson has made history by surpassing the likes of the fastest man in the world Usain Bolt and former Olympic champion Kirani James’ records in the 400m.
Wilson, the 16-year-old, was in a class of his own as he obliterated a strong field to win the 400m at the Bullis Track sophomore where he was opening his outdoor season.

ATHLETICS Lucy Mawia provisionally suspended by Italian federation for doping
Kenyan cross-country guru Lucy Mawia has been provisionally suspended by the Italian Federation following a positive doping test.
He clocked an impressive Personal Best time of 45.19 to win the race, beating the times that Bolt and James had clocked when they were the same age. At 16, Bolt had a personal best time of 45.35 while James had a Personal Best time of 45.24.

The American was off to a great start in the 2024 season, winning the 3000m short track at the Ocean Breeze Elite Invitational. He then proceeded to the 400m race at the New Balance Nationals Indoors where he won the race.
He also won the 500m short track at the Virginia Showcase and then proceeded to win the 600m at the Millrose Games. In the 4x200m short track relay at the Millrose Games, Wilson finished second.
At the New Balance Nationals Indoors, Wilson also managed to finish an impressive first place in the 4x400m relay short track.
