The deadline for registration is on Wednesday, April 26.
Athletics Kenya (AK) is set to host the sixth weekend meet starting Thursday, April 27 to Saturday, April 29.
AK noted that the meet, which was initially set to be hosted at the Nyayo National Stadium, has since been shifted to the Moi International Sports Center in Kasarani.
AK said that for the athletes to be eligible for participation, they need to have registered for the races in advance. The deadline for registration is on Wednesday, April 26.
The events to be staged include the 100m Hurdles (women), 110m Hurdles (men), 100m, 200m, 400, 400m Hurdles, 800m and the 1500m for both men and women.

The women’s 100m had five heats and saw sub-12 performances from budding athletes.
Others include the 3000m Steeple chase, 5000m, 10,000m, 4x100m, and the 4x400m races also for both genders. The race walk for men and women has also been included.
The field events include High Jump, Pole Vault, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus, Hammer, and Javelin for both men and women. AK has also introduced the combined events, decathlon, and heptathlon.

The sixth meet comes after they successfully held the fifth meet at the Gusii Stadium in Kisii on April 14 and 15.
