Beatrice Chepkoech has lauded the efforts from Athletics Kenya to enable athletes to train with their respective coaches ahead of the Paris Olympic Games.
The world 3000m steeplechase record holder noted that it is a great step since she is able to communicate with her coach about everything and training is seamless.
The world 3000m steeplechase silver medallist is also hopeful that she will finish in the podium bracket, noting that she is yet to win an Olympic medal after making appearances in two Olympic Games.

NOC-K president Paul Tergat has predicted five track events where Kenya will win gold medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
She made her debut at 2016 Rio Olympic Games, finishing fourth in the final before finishing seventh at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
“It has been so good since everyone is training with his/her coach and that is so good because you can bring everything to the table with your coach and know if everything is going on well,” Chepkoech said.
“My training has been okay and we hope for the best as we head to the Olympics. We all know that I have been missing an Olympic medal in my career,” she added.

Ferdinand Omanyala will face a spiritually driven British sprinter at the Paris Olympics highlighting a unique blend of faith and athleticism.
She added that her compatriots, Jackline Chepkoech and Faith Cherotich have been training in Eldoret and she trusts they are also working around the clock.
She noted that nothing much has changed in her training since the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, insisting that her focus is now different as she sets her eyes on greater things. She noted that her compatriots are also training with their respective coaches and hopefully, they will all be contending for medals at the Olympics.
“My colleagues have been in Eldoret and I’ve been here alone, training on Monday, Wednesday and Friday but my preparation is going on well. Training is training and I can’t say that anything is different but the only thing that has changed is my focus,” she added.
