Brittany Brown stunned a star-studded field at the Oslo Diamond League as she edged Marie Josee Ta Lou-Smith, while world champion Shericka Jackson faded to fifth.

World silver medallist (2019) Brittany Brown blazed back to recognition with a brilliant victory over Marie Josee Ta Lou-Smith and Shericka Jackson, for a memorable 200m victory at the Oslo Diamond League.

Brown's blistering run from outside the one saw her make a late charge to take the memorable win in 22.32s (-0.2) ahead of Ta Lou-Smith in 22.35s, while Daryll Neita was third in 22.50s.

Surprisingly, two-time world champion Jackson placed fifth in 22.97s, a drop in performance from her 22.8s winning time in Marrakech last weekend.

With just a few weeks to the start of the Olympic Games, it's expected for the Jamaican track star to go back to the drawing board with her coach and work towards hitting her top form again before the prestigious showpiece in Paris.
