Christian Coleman has broken his silence following the disappointment of not making the US men's 100m Olympic team to Paris.
For the first time since the 100m final at the US Olympic Trials, Christian Coleman has spoken about his disappointing loss of missing out on the individual team to Paris.
The world indoor champion failed to make the individual men's 100m team after an agonizing fourth, which was one spot out of the top three positions guaranteed to make the US team.

Coleman couldn't replicate his flashes of brilliance in the qualifying heats and semifinals of running the fastest times, paving the way for reigning world champion Noah Lyles to win the race equaling his Personal Best (PB) of 9.83s, with Kenny Bednarek closely finishing second in a PB of 9.88s.
Tokyo Olympic silver medallist Fred Kerley made a huge comeback with a brilliant run of 9.89s to finish third and seal his position in Paris.

Noah Lyles is heading to the Paris Olympic Games after winning the US title with Kenny Bednarek and Fred Kerley joining him in punching their tickets.
Coleman, however, despite having his usual great start and being ahead of the team for most of the race, faded in the last 10m to fourth in a time of 9.92s.
Despite the disappointment, the 2019 world champion is optimistic of the next phase and what the future is.

Christian Coleman and Athing Mu are among the five biggest losers from last weekend's USTAF Olympic trials.
"Humbled and grateful God chose me for this path, and I promise to see it through🤞🏾the love and support has been felt and is much appreciated 🖤this next phase is for y’all. Marathon continues🏁," wrote the 28-year-old on his Instagram handle.
Meanwhile, he is scheduled to compete in the 200m at the trials, where he will be gunning to try and make the US Olympic team in the event.
