US speedster Courtney Lindsey got an impressive win against Akani Simbine at the ISATF Berlin.

American speed sensation Courtney Lindsey got the better of Olympic finalist Akani Simbine for the 100m win at the ISATF Berlin.

Lindsey stormed to a Season's Best (SB) of 9.99s (0.0), edging the legendary South African to 10.00s, while Cameroonian Emmanuel Eseme was third in 10.11s.

Simbine was the favourite for the win, having made the Olympic final and ran a fantastic anchor leg to lead the South African 4x100m relay squad to a historic silver medal.

Nonetheless, despite the loss in Berlin, the talented sprinter will be gunning to bounce back to form at the Diamond League final in Brussels, where he'll be one of the top favourites to cop the prestigious trophy.
