Torrie Lewis surprises in 200m, beating Sha'Carri Richardson in her Diamond League debut.
Australia's Torrie Lewis unleashed a stunning performance in the women's 200m, taking a surprising victory over the American favorite Sha'Carri Richardson in a thrilling photo finish at the Diamond League meet.
Lewis, running in the less favored lane nine, clocked a time of 22.93 seconds, marking her first-ever win in the prestigious series at just 19 years old.

Why Justin Gatlin believes Jamaica are in a better position than Team USA long term for sprints
Gatlin has opined why he thinks Jamaica could dominate track and field over the long-term after a period of drought following the retirement of the likes of Usain Bolt and Asafa Powell.
Despite the anticipation, Richardson fell short, finishing a close second with a time of 22.99 seconds, while British sprinter Tamara Clark secured the third spot in 23.01 seconds.
This victory was a significant upset as Richardson's last 200m competition was at the previous year's Prefontaine Classic, where she also did not manage to clinch the top spot.
This race adds another chapter to Richardson’s attempts to dominate the 200m, a distance where she was outpaced by Shericka Jackson in last year's world championship in Budapest.
