British track star Dina Asher-Smith is excited about running more 400m before the indoor season comes to an end.
Sprint queen Dina Asher-Smith has hinted at running more 400m indoors following her impressive performance at the Tiger Paw Invite last weekend.
The British 100m and 200m record holder powered to an impressive Personal Best (PB) of 52.31s to finish second in her 400m heat, behind Texas A&M's Jermaisha Arnold in 51.86s.

Also, Asher-Smith's time was ahead of her training partner and Olympic 100m champion Julien Alfred's 52.97s, proving she's building up nicely as the season progresses.
Reacting to her impressive race, the 2019 world 200m champion tweeted on her X page: "New 400m PB, 52.31i. Excited to see how much lower we can go! Hope you all are having a great Sunday."
Asher-Smith had a lukewarm outing at the Paris Olympic Games, with a traumatic 100m semi-final elimination. Shrugging off the unexpected exit, she returned to finish an agonizing fourth in the 200m final but capped off nicely by being vital in the British silver-medal winning 4x100m relay squad.
However, her outing at the Olympics wasn't a total reflection of her season, which began by winning the European Championships 100m title and ended with fast times and impressive performances in the Diamond League circuit.

The British sprint icon who trains in the United States with renowned Edrick ‘Flo’ Floreal at the University of Texas and a world-class group that includes the Alfred, will be gunning to bounce back to her best form this season with focus on medalling at the World Championships in Tokyo in August.
