Sprint star Sha'Carri Richardson shared a 'selfish' motivational message as the 2025 season kicks off.
World 100m champion Sha'Carri Richardson shared a motivational, personal growth mindset ahead of a loaded 2025 season.
The US sprint queen has a huge year ahead that will need her bouncing back to ways following a rollercoaster end to last season, of which her vital goal will be on defending her 100m title at the world championships in Tokyo.
To do this, Richardson will have to overcome a talented group of women's sprinters topped by Olympic champion Julien Alfred, the Jamaican Big 3 of Elaine Thompson-Herah, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Shericka Jackson, and other respected stars with world and Olympic medals in their names.
Despite the challenge ahead, the talented speedster's mindset for the season is focusing on herself and doing good. Richardson shared this on her Instagram story with an image that boldly had the caption: "Be Good, Do Good."

Track Queen: Julien Alfred outshines Sha'Carri Richardson in another monumental sprint list as 2025 season kicks off
Olympic champion Julien Alfred shone in a monumental sprint list which had the absence of Sha'Carri Richardson.
It also had a written word backing it: "Please do it for yourself. I promise at the end of the day, no matter how chaotic, you will feel better. It's not so much about you, it's more about what energy you got out in the world. The universe listens to everybody, it's always worth it. Baby you should try it."
Richardson is yet to declare her 2025 season opener or if she'll be competing for the first time indoors. But whenever she does kick-off for the year, it's clear what her renewed mindset will be ahead of having greater career performances.
