Jamaican sprint sensation Elaine Thompson-Herah has revealed her ultimate target for the season under her new coach as she targets an unprecedented third Olympic gold medal in the 100m event this August.
Five months ago, Thompson-Herah made the decision to transition to working with coach Reynaldo Walcott, a move that aligns her with the esteemed mentor who has also guided three-time Olympic gold medalist and 10-time world champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce since 2020.
This partnership marks a significant shift for Thompson-Herah, who had previously trained under Stephen Francis before briefly being coached by her husband, Derron, and then Shanikie Osbourne.
