The Epe 10km Road Race will be held in Epe, Lagos, in southwest Nigeria. The road race is the fourth event in the Community Marathon Series series.
This race is being organized by the Community Marathon Series to promote marathon running among local residents and to improve their physical fitness.

The Epe 10km Road Race promises to be more glamorous than the previous events from the stable of the Community Marathon Series, which were held in FESTAC Town in Amowo Odofin, Lagos on October 2, 2021, Lekki on January 29, 2022, and Asaba on December 17, 2022. These sponsors include Larfarge, MultiChoice Nigeria, Amstel Malta, Pocari Sweat, and the Epe Local Government.
Lexicon Communications and Kukuruku Inc. have joined forces to create the Community Marathon Series (CMS).

Runners throng Abuja International Marathon Expo to collect kits
Marathon enthusiasts from within and outside the Federal Capital Territory daily throng The Pavilion, the venue of the ongoing Abuja International Marathon Expo to collect their running kits in readiness for the first international marathon in Abuja and the Federal Capital Territory.
The Community Marathon Series (CMS) is a health and fitness-inspired sports initiative that aims to put together a number of road race events in the rural areas of different communities in Africa.
It includes elite male and female competitors competing in a half marathon and a 10 km road event, respectively.
Athletes from all across Nigeria and the neighboring African nations participated in the first Community Marathon Series event at FESTAC Town, Lagos. Ismail Sajo of Cross Rivers State won the "A Festival of Fitness" competition. Jigak Monday and Emmanuel Gyang of Plateau State came in second and third, respectively.
Sajo received a monetary award of N500,000, a medal, and a trophy for emerging champion. First runner-up Monday received a medal, a trophy, and N300,000 in cash, while Gyang received N200, 000, a medal, and a trophy.

Abuja International Marathon sets price for students in 5km open race
The winning price has been set in the 5km open race at Abuja International Marathon.
The second edition was in Lekki, and the third edition of the 10km road race took place in Asaba, Delta State, with over 2000 athletes.
