Ese Brume and a number of Nigerian athletes have qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics by world rankings at the end of the qualifying window on June 30th.
Their world ranking means of qualification is via the accumulation of points and best performances throughout the season after failing to hit the automatic Olympic standard in their events.
Based on this, Brume and other Nigerian athletes will compete at the Olympics despite not hitting the automatic standard.
