Ese Brume bounced back with victory at the Orlen's Cup in Poland, as she soared to a Season's Best mark.
Commonwealth champion Ese Brume, produced her best performance this season, soaring to a Season Best (SB) of 6.81m to win the women's long jump at the Orlen Janusz Kusocinki Memorial.
Brume jumped this on her final attempt to leap from Quanesha Burks, who jumped 6.77m, and Agate De Sousa with 6.76m for third.
Her series throughout the competition were improvements from her previous attempts, showing her progress with every jump.
The Nigerian's victory came from the brink of her first loss of the year at the Florence Diamond League, where she finished fourth in the event with a distance of 6.54m. Young Italian Larissa Lapichino won with a distance of 6.79m.
