Baylor University's sensational hurdler Ezekiel Nathaniel dominated the 400m Hurdles event to secure his spot at the NCAA Championships.
Nathaniel clocked 49.04s to convincingly win his quarterfinal heat ahead of Cass Elliot, who came second in 49.57s,
The Nigerian Record holder will be making his second consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships in two weeks and will be gunning for a podium placement after a fourth-place finish at the championship last year.
Consequently, Abdullahi secured his spot in the 110m Hurdles, racing to a Season's Best (SB) of 13.61s (1.7) which was good enough to secure him a spot as one of the fastest non-automatic qualifiers.
He was also present at the 2022 NCAA Championships, making it back-to-back qualifications for the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA) hurdler.
