Faith Kipyegon has revealed her target for the rest of the season after she dominated the 1500m of the Rome Diamond League classic on Friday to seal qualification for the Diamond League final which will take place in Zurich later this month.
Kipyegon continues to prove why she is one of the greatest middle-distance runners of all time, as she extended her winning streak in the event.
Fresh off her third consecutive Olympic gold medal in Paris, Kipyegon showcased her exceptional finishing power, pulling away from her competitors in the final 120 meters to secure victory with a time of 3:52.89.

Three-time Olympics champion Faith Kipyegon had no equals as she ran a dominant race to win the 1,500m at the Rome Diamond League.
The triumph marks her second Diamond League win of the season, following her record-breaking performance in Paris in July, just before the Olympics.
In a post-race interview, Kipyegon expressed her satisfaction with the race, especially given that it was her first competition since the Olympic Games three weeks prior.
“I am so happy. I am satisfied with the pace and with how the race went. It was all about qualifying for the Diamond League final, about getting the points. I enjoyed the race, but I did not see the time,” she shared.
