Shericka Jackson's fashion sense is undoubtedly one to embrace and she did not disappoint on Friday night as she stunned in a red dress while receiving the 2023 RJRGLEANER Sportswoman award.
Two-time World 200m champion Shericka Jackson did not disappoint one more time as she graced the prestigious RJRGLEANER Sports Foundation’s National Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year awards at The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston on Friday night.
Jackson, the World 100m silver medallist wore a stunning red dress and had a perfect face beat as she took center stage at the event. She eventually won the top women’s category as Antonio Watson took home the men’s award after their impeccable seasons.

Sharing the good news on her X (Twitter) handle, Jackson shared the stunning photos and captioned them: “She’s royal. The RJR Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year Awards.”
Meanwhile, Jackson won the prestigious award, thanks to her hard work and determination throughout the whole 2023 season where she successfully defended the women’s 200m title at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
She clocked an impressive time of 21.41, setting a new national record and running the second-fastest time ever in the event. She is currently the fastest woman alive over the 200m.
Jackson added to an already impressive season with silver in both the women’s 100m and the 4x100m at the World Championships before securing the Diamond League titles in both the 100m and the 200m.
Meanwhile, Watson was awarded the Sportsman of the Year award for the first time after he closed out a 2023 season after bringing home his first senior title when he powered past Britain’s Matthew Hudson-Smith in a time of 44.22.
