The Swiss coach has been feted for his outstanding work in shaping many athletics stars including Dutchwoman Femke Bol who had an impressive 2023 season.
The 23-year-old's journey to this monumental achievement began earlier this month in Metz, where she opened her season with a formidable 49.69 seconds.
She continued to showcase her escalating form by improving her time to 49.63 seconds in Lievin.
On Saturday, Bol won her heat in Apeldoorn with a comfortable 50.55 seconds, hinting at the explosive performance that was to come.
Her final run on Sunday, leading from the 200m mark and powering through to the finish line, marked her sixth career sub-50-second indoor run.
