Ferdinand Omanyala has clocked his second-fastest time with Mark Otieno securing his automatic Olympic qualification slot at the Kenyan Olympic trials.
“What I want to tell upcoming athletes is that this is a game of patience and it needs a lot of consistency and they should not be proud of themselves for running 10.30,” Omanyala said.
“They should actually be more pressured because with that time, it’s impossible to get any races out here so they should just be humble and continue pushing because it’s a game of patience. I’ve made it look easy but it isn’t."
