Kishane Thompson has been confirmed for the men’s 100m at the Diamond League Meeting in Rome after scratching from the meeting in Silesia.
The Olympic 100m silver medallist recorded a did not start in the men’s 100m race in Silesia in the race won by Fred Kerley. He is now ready for the challenge as he will be taking to the track on Friday, August 30.
However, the race will not be a walk in the pack as he will take on strong opponents, coming from explosive times at the Diamond League Meeting in Silesia. Africa’s fastest man, Ferdinand Omanyala, fresh from a second-place finish in Silesia, will be out to challenge Thompson.

Christian Coleman will be out to continue his winning ways in the Diamond League circuit following the disappointing Paris Olympic Games where Team USA’s men’s 4x100m relay team was disqualified.
