Top performances from Bol, Ta Lou, Knighton, and Holloway to win their respective events at the Florence Diamond League.
Marie-Josee Ta Lou, Erriyon Knighton, Femke Bol, and Grant Holloway were in dominant forms in their respective events at the Florence Diamond League.
Dutch sensation Bol dominated the 400m Hurdles event impressively, blazing to a Meeting Record (MR) and World Lead (WL) of 52.49s ahead of Shamier Little in a Season's Best (SB) of 53.38s, and Anna Hall was third in a Personal Best (PB) of 54.42s.
In the women's 100m, Ta Lou was unstoppable, stopping the clock at 10.97s (-0.4) ahead of European champion Gina Lückenkemper in 11.09s and Great Britain's Imani Lansiquot in 11.16s, while Dina Asher-Smith was a Did Not Start.
The men's 200m saw Knighton pull away from the field to win in a blistering 19.89s (0.0), his first race in the event this season. Jereem Richards was second in 20.28s, while Aaron Brown ran 20.31s for third.
Holloway bounced back from losing at the Rabat Diamond League with a winning time of 13.05s (-0.2), managing to steer clear of Jason Joseph, who clocked a massive PB and Swiss National Record of 13.10s. Devon Allen was third in an SB of 13.19s.
The Florence Diamond League was a significant success for most of the athletes, and the train will now move to the next city in Paris
