Amazfit, a leading global smart wearables brand that Kelvin Kiptum had signed a deal will honour him with a donation of Ksh 13 million to his foundation and also donate profits from the sales of the newly unveiled Amazfit Cheetah Pro Kelvin Kiptum Commemorative Edition smartwatch.
Before his sudden demise, the late Kelvin Kiptum had just signed an ambassadorial deal with Amazfit, a leading global smart wearables brand, to enable him break the sub-two-hour marathon barrier at the NN Rotterdam Marathon.
The company which is owned by Zepp Health, a health technology company, announced its ground-breaking partnership in early February, weeks before Kiptum was involved in the accident.
As a way to honour the London Marathon champion, Zepp Health will pump about Ksh 13 million into the Kelvin Kiptum Foundation, a significant initiative aimed at preserving the legacy of the late marathon world record holder.

With only 235 watches produced, symbolizing Kiptum's world record marathon time of 2:00:35, a portion of these exclusive timepieces will be available for purchase at the Rotterdam Marathon Expo, where Kelvin aspired to break the two-hour barrier. The remainder will be offered online at Amazfit.com starting from April 11, 2024.
