A hat-trick of incredible performances from Goodness Iredia at the Mid-South Conference Championships.
Cumberland University's Godness Iredia was the star performer in the field events, dominating the jumps to win triple gold medals at the Mid-South Conference Championships.
The freshman smashed his Personal Best (PB) and Facility Record in the high, triple, and long jump events to become the Most Valuable Field Athlete at the championship.
Iredia won the triple jump title in a massive PB, Championship Record, and Facility Record of 15.93m, smashing his previous best of 15.76m.
He won the long jump in a Facility and Championship Record of 7.46m and then equalled his high jump PB by scaling the height of 2.05m.

Chuwuebuka Enekwechi produced his best performance of the season to win the men's Shot Put in Brazil.
Iredia has been in superb form since gaining a scholarship to the US in January, dominating the jumps at both the indoor and now outdoor championships.
For his outstanding performances, he has won several Field Athlete of the Week Awards and Mid-South Conference Field Athlete of the Week.
The talented jumper is steadily rising through the ranks to be Nigeria's best jumper in the next few years.
