“I’m feeling happy and excited to be back and I feel good. This year I have a lot of pressure because I’m the defending champion and I know that people are going to be watching me.
“I also have to be in my best shape and show people that I’m the best in what I do. I have competed with a lot of strong athletes all over the world for so many years.
“When I go to the Boston Marathon, I will be competing as Hellen Obiri and I will give my best at the event,” she said in an interview with Citius Mag.
At the moment, she can now be called a full marathoner since she has been able to work things out perfectly. She disclosed that her body has adapted to marathon training and she is even perfect at it.
“For now, I’m a marathoner and I can’t say I’m a beginner because I’m going for my fourth marathon. Everything I’m doing in my training is different and my body is also doing well unlike last year and 2022 where I was struggling with my program and long workouts.
