World Champion Tobi Amusan has a glimmer of hope of competing at the World Championships in Budapest following the final athlete's entry lists released by World Athletics.
Amusan was included in the confirmed entry list of the women's 100m Hurdles. However, she can only compete pending her clearance in the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) process.
The World Record (WR) holder was provisionally suspended by the AIU last month for charges of missing tests doping violation for missing three tests within 12 months.

Famous Nigerian athlete Tobi Amusan was provisionally suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) for missing drug tests.
The AIU accepted her decision and confirmed that the case will be declared before the start of the World Championships, and if cleared, she will be in Budapest to defend her world title.
Her inclusion in the entry list is a massive step in the right direction for Nigerians to be hopeful that when the court decides, their heroine is innocent and cleared of the violations - a guarantee of being in Budapest and Amusan going for an historic outing again.
