The crème de la crème of the track and field will be heading to the Bahamas this weekend for the World Athletics Relays on Saturday and Sunday (May 4 and 5) and here is how you can follow them live in action.
Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala and multiple National champion Mark Otieno headline the Kenyan 4x100m men’s team and will be going up against strong teams from the US that include triple World champion Noah Lyles and Italy including Olympic champion Marcell Jacobs.

Fans have shared their opinion concerning the move by Athletics Kenya and NOC-K to select Brigid Kosgei in the main Olympic marathon team and name Sharon Lokedi as a reserve, with some believing Nike played a huge role in the selection of the team.
That will be one of the highlights of the event but Kenya will also be represented in the men’s and women’s 4x400m relay and the mixed relay.

The mixed 4x400m Olympic qualifying round 1 kicks things off at 7:05 pm in Nassau time but since the East African Time is seven hours ahead of Nassau, then the action will begin at 2:05 am on Sunday. The men's 4x400m final will bring the competition to a close from 10:20 pm on Sunday (5:30 am on Monday EAT).
The World Athletics Relays Bahamas 24 will be streamed live in several territories on World Athletics Inside Track, as well as via broadcasters around the world. For Kenyans who will be watching the event, the action can be followed on SuperSport Variety 3, SuperSport Variety 4, and SuperSport Grandstand.
