Noah Lyles's Jamaican partner Junelle Bromfield revealed how she feels when people refer to her as just a girlfriend over her accomplishments.
Jamaica's track star Junelle Bromfield has finally expressed her feelings on being tagged 'Noah Lyles girlfriend' over her career achievements as an athlete.
The pair have been romantically involved for almost two years, and are one of the most famous power couples in track and field, as they're both well-recognised in their careers and external affairs.
In an interview where the couple appeared with Jamaican legend Asafa Powell and his wife on their podcast show Fast Lane Lifestyle, Bromfield stated she doesn't care about Lyle's pedigree overshadowing hers or being referred to as just a girlfriend over her accomplishments as a world and Olympic medallist.

Junelle Bromfield showed off one of her key attributes that always attracts Noah Lyles.
"People always be like Noah's girlfriend when I'm also an Olympic medallist and a world championships medallist even though it's in the relays," said the Tokyo Olympics 4x400m bronze medallist.
"I'm like, I feel like the people who really knows me is the people who matters and they call me Junelle. That's all I care about because I don't really care about social media anyway," she continued.
"Noah is the one that encouraged me to build my profile and start posting...I don't care about what people has to say at the end of the day," she concluded.
Bromfield is a vital member of the Jamaican women's 4x400m relay squad and they have won several international medals including becoming the 2022 World Indoor Champions and winning a silver medal at the 2022 World Championships in Eugene.
