The 24-year-old has also come to embrace her individuality through her long nails, which she styles in a fashion that pays homage to the late Florence Griffith-Joyner.
This week, Richardson is favoured to win the 100 metres at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials, according to reports from AP News.
If she succeeds, she will join a select group of American champions that includes Florence Griffith Joyner, the world record holder.
During an interview with KSL Sports, Richardson said, “I feel like I want to bring beauty to the track. I want to be beautiful just like I am here when I’m living life and handling my business.”

She claimed that she always wants to look beautiful in every situation, either on the track, living life or handling her business.
Meanwhile, Richardson intends to make a significant comeback when competing in the women's 100- and 200-meter races in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
