Marie Josee Ta Lou yet again has given reasons why her competitors should be bothered after another impressive outing at the Lausanne Diamond League.
World leader in the women's 100m event Marie Josee Ta Lou reacted after her dominating performance at the Lausanne Diamond League.
Ta Lou once again was class apart from her peers, racing to a fast 10.88s to win the women's 100m and securing her third straight Diamond League win and sixth wind-legal sub-11.00s run of the season.
By doing this, the Ivorian is building an impressive winning streak, and the world leader, who clocked 10.75s in Oslo, again left her rivals with no response in the 100m - as she won clear ahead of Britain’s Daryll Neita (11.07s) and Germany’s Gina Luckenkemper (11.17s).
Even with the impeccable performance, the 34-year-old feels she could have run faster if not for the conditions at the stadium in Lausanne.
"I am happy with my race, but not really with my time. I will have to work as usual with my coach," said Ta Lou in a post-race interview.
"The conditions weren't ideal, it was cold for me. But I am happy at least I ran under the 11 seconds barrier."

The World and Olympic medallist returned to the track moments later, running a jaw-dropping second leg to help her country's 4x100m relay team to a fantastic National Record of 42.23s.
Their quartet of legendary Mureille Ahoure-Demps, Jessika Gbai, and Maboundou Kone won the race, automatically qualifying them for the World Championships in Budapest.
