YouTuber and Cristiano Ronaldo fanboy iShowspeed unveiled his 2028 Olympics plan after a race against Olympic champion Noah Lyles.

Popular YouTuber and content creator IShowSpeed has made a surprising announcement - he plans to compete in the 2028 Olympic Games.

During a panel appearance at ComplexCon Las Vegas, the 19-year-old revealed the dream to qualify for the prestigious sporting event.

"In 2028, I'll be running in the Olympics," Speed declared, per Dexerto, before listing 100 meters, 50 meters, and 'maybe 200' as events he hopes to compete for.

However, it was pointed out to him that there is no 50-meter race in the Olympics, Speed 'stumbled momentarily' before correcting himself, "...100m then."

Speed, known for his daring athletic exploits in online videos, recently lost a $100,000 race against Olympian Noah Lyles organised by MrBeast.

Despite this defeat, the outspoken content creator and Cristiano Ronaldo fan regards himself as the 'fastest man' alive. He is now setting his sights on walking the talk against the biggest stage.

The announcement has certainly caught his fanbase by surprise, with many questioning whether Speed can truly make good on his Olympic ambitions.

Nevertheless, the YouTuber appears undeterred, determined to defy the odds and earn a spot on the Olympic team in 2028.

The upcoming 2028 Summer Olympics, set to take place in Los Angeles, will be a significant challenge for IShowSpeed.

To qualify, he must secure a top-three finish at the U.S. Trials, which are known for their competitive nature. The U.S. sprinting scene is particularly strong, with several elite athletes vying for limited spots on the Olympic team.

Lyles is the Olympic champion at 100m.

Nevertheless, Speed's existing athleticism and his commitment to training could potentially pave the way for his Olympic aspirations.

In recent months, Speed has showcased his athletic abilities through various online challenges and races, including an impressive 6-foot jump that caught the attention of Olympian Fredrick "Flips" Richard.
