Junelle Bromfield had to make a promise to her fiancé Noah Lyles after forgetting one of the most important things since their highly publicized engagement.

Jamaican track queen Junelle Bromfield is struggling with her new status as Noah Lyles’ fiancé.

Bromfield and Lyles got engaged at a colourful ceremony attended by friends and family this month and with a wedding date yet to be set, they have been getting used to their new status as wife and husband to be.

Part of that includes Bromfield wearing her engagement ring but it appears this is an area she is still getting used to. The sprinter had to make a promise to Lyles after she forgot to put on her ring before they left home, something that did not impress the Olympics 100m champion.

"I'm not proud of it, I'm not proud of it, my memory is not good,” Bromfield explained in a video posted on Instagram by the couple, after having gone back to the house for her ring.

“But then I will leave my ring no more. Pinky promise, I won't leave my ring a lot. But I promise, I will try not to leave it."

Lyles the asked her to make a vow to herself, to which she replied: "Remember to take up your ring in the morning from the bedside because your boyfriend, your fiancé doesn’t like it, your future husband won't like it. But I like my ring, it's nice."

The clip provided a glimpse into the new life of the two and how they are coping with being engaged and not boyfriend and girlfriend anymore.

Lyles and Bromfield have been keeping their fans updated on their lives since their public engagement and recently shared a hilarious account of their moving in together on social media.

In a lighthearted Instagram video, Bromfield captured the fun part of their transition.

Captioned "when we pack, we pack everything," the video had Lyles on the phone at their home, which was already stacked with moving boxes.
