Favour Ofili is back asking questions after it was confirmed she won't be running the women's 100m event at Paris 2024 Olympics. This unfortunate incident was due to the AFN and NOC failing to carry out their jobs properly.

Sprint queen Favour Ofili isn't resting on the injustice bestowed on her by the AFN and NOC failing to register her for the women's 100m event and is demanding answers for her Paris 2024 heartbreak.

The 21-year-old made a public outcry some days before the start of athletics at Paris 2024 Olympics when she noticed her name was omitted from the entry list of those competing in the women's 100m event.

Her post on her social media platforms went viral as several prominent world figures and athletes campaigned on her behalf on the inefficiency of the AFN and NOC nailing her Olympic dreams for the second consecutive time.

Consequently, Nigeria's Minister of Sports John Enoh swiftly moved to action on the issue, stating actions would be taken to get it resolved and whoever was responsible would be brought to books.

Unfortunately, when the women's 100m startlist was released, Ofili's name didn't make it, thus putting an end to her dream of running the event in Paris.

She will later take to her X page demanding answers and justice to her plight and wants immediate action to be taken on whoever was responsible.

"Sadly, nothing has been done…. I'm yet to see or hear anyone is being punished for what the NOC and AFN did to me. Athletes shouldn't be getting punished for things out of their control.

"Who assigned federations and/or Olympic committees to enter athletes into Olympic Games? Is it World Athletics? If so, should they not hold them accountable when they fail to do their job by not entering athletes in events they qualify and want to compete?

"NOC and AFN………. This is not the first time you guys are doing this so don't think this is over because is not," she tweeted.

Ofili will now channel her focus on competing in the 200m and 4x100m events, where she has prospects of making the final.
