Two-time World 200m champion Shericka Jackson is among the people who will be conferred with honorary degrees by the University of Technology (UTech).
As reported by the Jamaican Gleaner, the double (100m and 200m) Diamond League final trophy winner will be joined by the Governor of the Bank of Jamaica, Richard Byles, and ICT and Engineering Process Control expert, Dr Patrick Dallas.

Sha'Carri Richardson and Shericka Jackson's moment after the 200m final in Budapest, has put them on the nominee list for the World Athletics Fair Play Award.
The degrees will be handed to the trio during UTech's graduation ceremonies to be on November 17 and November 18 at its Papine campus.
Jackson and Byles will both be conferred with the Doctor of Laws honorary degrees at the November 18 ceremony, while Dallas will receive his Doctor of Technology honorary degree on November 17.
Jackson, the World 100m silver medallist, is being recognised as one of Jamaica's most acclaimed sprinters, after becoming the fastest woman alive and second fastest woman of all time in the 200m in 2022.
