Jasmine Camacho-Quinn has bounced back to winning ways, picking up from where she left at the Diamond League Meeting in Lausanne.
Camacho-Quinn clocked a stunning 12.36 seconds to win the women’s 100m hurdles ahead of Cyrena Samba-Mayela who finished second in a time of 12.40 seconds. Masai Russell completed the podium in a time of 12.47 seconds.
The win comes as sweet revenge after Russell stunned the defending champion at the Paris Olympic Games to take the win and force her to settle for second. French-woman Samba-Mayela completed the podium at the Olympic Games.

Russell was in action in Silesia, her first competition after the Paris Olympic Games where she was flawless as she claimed her first global title. All eyes were on her to deliver but she faded to finish fifth in the race won by Ackera Nugent in 12.29 seconds. The race saw Grace Stark come in second in a time of 12.37 as World Champion Danielle Williams finished third in 12.38.
Russell proceeded to the Diamond League Meeting in Rome where she finished second behind the Jamaican youngster Nugent, who just turned professional this season.
