World 1500m champion Josh Kerr has continued his beef with Jakob Ingebrigtsen claiming that the Norwegian has flaws on the track and in the manners realm.
Reigning World 1500m champion Josh Kerr believes track rival Jakob Ingebrigtsen has a lot to work on when it comes to his manners on and off the track.
As quoted by The Guardian, the Scot emphasised that the Norwegian has a “high ego” and is used to being surrounded by “yes men”, making it difficult for him to understand that there is a difference between respect and antipathy.

ATHLETICS Jamaican youngster ready for global stardom as he fires stern warning shots at Noah Lyles and Co.
Jamaican youngster has fired warning shots at his opponents including Noah Lyles and Ferdinand Omanyala as he looks forward to following in the footsteps of Usain Bolt.

“Myself and Jake Wightman have shown where those flaws are. And I think he has some flaws in the manners realm as well.
“I’m not saying I’m a better time-trialer than him, because I don’t know if I am. But I think come championship day, I am the best athlete in the world. And no Let’s Run article is going to tell me otherwise,” Kerr said.
He added that the two have met and spoken before but going forward, he does not think they will be having many more conversations.
Meanwhile, Kerr has already made plans on how he will conquer the race at the Stade de France. He has already set the time he would like to run and hopefully win an Olympic gold medal.
“I’ve already written out my tactics and I know what I am doing in Paris. It’s one of those things for me: I am very good at that one day, and peaking at the right time.
