From being training partners to a competitive race, Julien Alfred and Dina Asher-Smith will face off in a 60m race at the Millrose Games on February 11.
Last season, Alfred had the best performance by a college athlete in the NCAA by winning all titles at her grasp and closing with a 60m time of 6.94s as the second-fastest woman in history.

NCAA champion Julien Alfred stunned Sha'Carri Richardson in the women's 100m event at the Gyulai Istvan Memorial, handing the US champion her first loss of the season.
Now making her first professional debut indoors, the St. Lucian speedster will be gunning for another memorable fast time to begin preparations for the World Indoor Championships.
However, she'll have her hands full against some of the world's best indoor runners in Great Britain's Asher-Smith, with a Personal Best of 7.03s clocked last year in Birmingham.
Also listed on the star-studded list are Jamaica's duo of Brianna Williams and Sashalee Forbes, USA's world championships finalist Tamari Davis, and her compatriots English Gardiner, Marybeth Sant-Price, and Celera Barnes.
