Jamaican track star Junelle Bromfield celebrated her friend Gabby Thomas following the featuring of the Olympic champion as 2025 Vogue's winter cover star.
For Vogue's winter issue, Thomas was featured alongside basketball player Angel Reese, tennis player Frances Tiafoe, and others about how they fell in love with sports and fashion.
The triple Olympic champion in Paris shared the exciting news on her social media pages with the caption:
"Somebody pinch me because I must be dreaming! Thank you @voguemagazine for the cover and story. This is such an honor 🫶🏽."
Bromfield would then react to the news by commenting "Yessss", then shared the milestone on her Instagram story.
Thomas is a close friend of Bromfield and her fiance Noah Lyles, has been a huge fan of their relationship. During Christmas celebrations, she sent a special gift to the married couple-to-be.
The speed queens' have found a way to combine their on and off-track activities successfully, and are one of the world's most famous athletes.
With the 2025 season officially kicked off, Thomas and Bromfield will be gunning to have a memorable year, which will peak at the World Championships in Tokyo in the summer.
