Following Kelvin Kiptum’s world record run in Chicago, experts feel he is best placed to run a fast ever sub-two-hour marathon due to a number of factors that give him an advantage.
“Kiptum is sheer talent, he has talent, and maybe he is lucky to have a coach who gives him the right skills in marathon,” said Mwaniki.
“He is a phenomenal, we do not know what is in store for him. He can last long until people get surprised. He can prove people wrong and go for 10 years like Eliud [Kipchoge] and he could go longer because he is younger,” he added.
