During last year’s edition of the event, Kandie did not make the cut to the World Championships since he was yet to hit the qualifying time but this time around, he has suffered an injury setback (right leg hamstring injury).
Speaking to Pulse Sports, Kandie disclosed that he does not want to be affected by the issue and he will now shift focus to the World Half Marathon Championships scheduled for October 1 in Riga, Latvia.
