Letsile Tebogo's massive wave of confidence continued with an easy cheeky stare win against Christian Coleman at the Diamond League in Rome.

Olympic 200m champion Letsile Tebogo has surely forgotten how to lose. This time, he blazed to another massive win against Christian Coleman at the Rome Diamond League.

The Botswanan speedster ran a good race from the blast of the gun. Despite Coleman's monstrous start to take the lead for the first 60m of the race, Tebogo's fast-finishing speed was too good as he looked across the track with 20 meters to go and started celebrating as soon as he saw he had passed the American.

He crossed the finish line in 9.87s ahead of Coleman in 9.92s, while Olympic bronze medallist Fred Kerley settled for third in 9.95s.

Tebogo's victory is his third consecutive Diamond League victory since winning the Olympic 200m title in Paris, thus proving he's riding on a massive wave of confidence and in his best career form.

Now qualified for the Diamond League 100m and 200m finals in Brussels, the 21-year-old is now the top favourite to do the sprint double and cap off a historic 2024 season.
