Sha'Carri Richardson has cleared up the rumours about her season opener in Florida.
World 100m champion Sha'Carri Richardson has debunked racing at the Miramar Invitational this weekend as her season opener, instead, hinted at following her boyfriend Christian Coleman's schedule for the year.

With many fans already excited about being treated to an epic clash this early in the season, as well as being treated to the excitement of the Grand Slam Track in Kingston, Richardson has now cleared the air.
The speedster posted on her social media platforms. First on her Instagram story: "Lies...I will not be competing at the Miramar Invitational."
Later on, she took to her X page to tweet: "I will not be running anywhere this weekend but enjoy all the meets !!"
Meanwhile, Richardson used the same moment to passionately support her boyfriend Coleman by sharing his race schedule for the year on her Instagram story.
"Anyway lock in to babe schedule,” she wrote as the caption. “About that time.”

The couple have been making news headlines since making their relationship public in February and will be gunning to have iconic 2025 seasons, especially at the Tokyo World Championships in September.
Richardson will aim to defend her 100m world title, while Coleman will seek to medal or reclaim the title he last won in 2019.
