The trio with Kenyan roots will be hoping to impress at the US trials and don the American jersey at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The USATF Olympic trials will be coming up on Friday, June 21, having attracted very strong fields for each discipline with only the top three having a chance to make it to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Some of the Kenyans who switched their allegiance will also be in the mix, hoping to don the American jersey in the city of love and it will just a matter of who blinks first.
The marathon trials saw Leonard Korir make the cut to the team and he will be representing the USA for the first time in the marathon after competing in the marathon at the Rio Olympics. As the trials for track and field start on Friday, three steeplechasers will toe the line with the hope of impressing one more time.

Reactions as USATF unveils prize money for Noah Lyles, Sha'Carri Richardson & Co at Olympic trials
Several fans have slammed USATF after the prize money structure set aside for Noah Lyles, Sha'Carri Richardson, and Co at the Olympic trials was unveiled.
Bernard Keter has also been included in the start list, and he will also be looking to make his debut at the Olympic Games if all goes well. Just like Rotich, Keter works for the US Army and making the team will earn him a lot of respect and he will also be able to lead as an example.
Keter won his season opener at the Bryan Clay Invitational before finishing 12th at the USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix before finishing fifth at the Portland Track Festival.
