Reigning Commonwealth Games 800m champion Mary Moraa recently got engaged to the love of her life, Richard Lagat.
The 23-year-old got engaged at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport when she had just landed from the USA after competing at the Prefontaine Classic, the Diamond League Meeting final.

Ferdinand Omanyala has explained how many people did not believe in him when he wanted to defer his studies and focus on training.
"We have been supporting each other because he is a volleyball coach and I’m an athlete so maybe when I need some advice I usually talk to him. He has been supporting me a lot,” Moraa said.
