1) Faith Kipyegon
Also known as Mother Stronger, the two-time world, and Olympic champion is a mother to a beautiful girl, Alyn Kitum, whom she gave birth to in 2018.
After her maternity leave, she went to compete at the 2019 World Championships where she displayed a brilliant show to settle for second place behind Sifan Hassan.
At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Kipyegon became only the third athlete to retain an Olympic title after becoming a mother.
2) Vivian Cheruiyot
The four-time world 5000m champion, also known as the Pocket Rocket, is a mother to two children, Allan Kiprono who she gave birth to in 2013, and Jebiwott whom she begot in 2021.

This year started on a high for her as she opened her season with back-to-back wins at the Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon and the New York City Half Marathon.
After giving birth to her first child Cheruiyot came back with a bang winning the 2015 World Championships 10,000m gold medal in Beijing, China.
Cheruiyot won 5000m gold and 10000m silver medals at the 2016 London Olympic Games. Cheruiyot also registered a first and second-place finish at the 2018 and 2019 London marathon editions respectively.
3) Peres Jepchirchir
The 2021 New York City Marathon champion gave birth to her daughter, Natalia in 2017. 13 months after giving birth, she bagged the Lisbon Half Marathon title.

4) Hellen Obiri
The newly-crowned Boston Marathon champion begot her daughter Tania who was born by cesarean section in May 2015. After her maternity leave, she came back and comfortably won her first race at the 2016 Kenya Defense Forces championships.
