Louisiana State University track star Favour Ofili has officially turned professional and signed for Adidas.
'Star Girl' Favour Ofili has officially announced she has left the college scene and signed a professional contract with Adidas.
Ofili first gave hints on turning pro at her last meet at the Ed Murphy Classic, where she turned up wearing Adidas kits.
It aroused many suspicions on whether she had officially left the NCAA circuit or it was an NIL deal that allowed her to promote the Adidas brand while still a college athlete.
The Lousiana State University (LSU) standout speedster has now officially confirmed the suspicions, changing her Instagram bio to professional athlete for Adidas. She also posted a new training video in Adidas wears - further confirming the news.
Ofili has a Personal Best of 10.93s in the 100m and 21.96s in the 200m, making her one of the brightest prospects in the events for the future.
She is listed to compete in the 200m and 4x100m relays at the World Championships in Budapest.
