Baylor's Nnamdi Chinecherem helped his school gain valid points by placing third in the men's Javelin throw final at the NCAA Championships in Austin.
A second time is a charm for Nnamdi Chinecherem, who secured a bronze medal in the men's Javelin throw at the NCAA Championships.
The Baylor University sophomore led with his first throw but got overtaken by LSU's defending champion Tzuriel Pedigo, who landed a new school record of 79.79m on his third throw.
Chinecherem responded with 78.36m, which was enough to secure the bronze medal - an upgrade from his fourth-place finish last year.
The Nigerian record holder is now a two-time BIG 12 Champion and an NCAA bronze medallist - a worthy achievement for the talented thrower.
