Speedsters Noah Lyles and Julien Alfred are scheduled to officially kick off their 2025 season at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix.

Olympic champions Noah Lyles and Julien Alfred are scheduled to be the headliners at the highly acclaimed New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston on February 2nd.

The meet, which will mark their 2025 season debut, will also feature other Olympic stars and medallists, making it one of the highly anticipated competitions in the indoor season.

In the men's 60m, Lyles and Tokyo 2020 champion Marcell Jacobs will face off for the first time in the event, and both will be gunning for a memorable win to kick off their season.

In addition, Lyles will be returning to defend his crown and make his seventh appearance at the Grand Prix. The American sprint champion is coming off a season that began with a victory in Boston and saw him win his first USA national indoor title at 60m, two silver medals at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow, both the 100m and 200m finals at the US Olympic Trials and finally gold and bronze medals at the Paris Olympics in the 100m and 200m, respectively.

He will be attempting his fourth-consecutive 60m triumph at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix victory over 60m, aiming to surpass his Personal Best (PB) of 6.44s.

Meanwhile, Alfred will debut on the mount of her heroics at the Olympic Games, where she defeated Sha'Carri Richardson in the women's 100m final to win Saint Lucia's first gold medal in Paris.

In the men's 60mH, Grant Holloway will also be attempting his fourth-straight victory. Holloway is widely regarded as the best indoor hurdler in history, having won the 2022 and 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships and owning eight of the nine fastest times ever recorded, including the world record of 7.27s set earlier this year.
