Lyles asked: “Is the triple enough to get World Athletes of the Year???”
A fan of his commented on the question saying: “It should, not only did you triple but you were the underdog in the 100, no one thought you would win except you and a lot of your fans including myself and family. You proved the doubters wrong that should be more than enough.”
Another fan seemed to disagree with his thoughts and said: “Worthy of being a finalist for sure, but someone who broke a world record might edge it. I hope to see you break the 200m world record someday though.”
